After reading other blogs for a long time, I thought it would be fun to start my own--mostly because I love to catch up with other people and I only thought it would be fair if others could read about me.
The great thing about reading blogs is that I can fulfill my voyeuristic tendencies from the comfort of my own home. I can check up on other mothers and their families or travel around the world with people and never leave my seat. I love hearing stories of other's triumphs and trials and I must admit that I love to hear when they fail. It gives me hope that I am not the only one in the world that has chaotic days that end in pleading with the Lord to help my kids have amnesia someday.
Of course I have my doubts about all this. Who in the world will read this thing? Can I even write as well as (fill in the blank)? Will I even have anything to write about? Will I completely embarrass myself? My main desire is to share with other moms the ups and downs of everyday life. Motherhood is not always easy. Sometimes it is a miracle that I even survive the day. Praise the Lord for His forgiveness and faithfulness!
I will be reading!! I will add you to my blog list :-) It is such a loooong walk to your house that I am glad we can stay connected this way :-)
